Young Emotion Oosterwolde
On the 11th of June the teams will be racing against each other for the second time in Oosterwolde. Who will win this race? And can RSG Simon Vestdijk keep up their leader place in the rankings or will there be another team who will be going home with the leader flag this time?
On the 10th of June all teams are expected in Oosterwolde on the improvised camping. With thanks to the Stellingwerf College all teams camp on the sports field of their school. The ideal base for the race. Friday is in sign of (re)assessments, a swimming test for the new skippers, a palaver and a cozy dinner with all teams.
Saturday the 11th of June it’s time to race. At 10 AM the Young Emotion starts with endurance and sails the teams towards Appelscha where they have to pass a lock, a new exiting challenge for the skippers. Next they have to make two rounds around the buoy before the solar boats have to go through the lock again. Wich team first sets the final sprint after the lock towards the finish at Stellingwerf College? After a short moment of rest in wich hopefully the sun will shine and charge the accu’s the teams will sprint against each other in the waste round. The sprint starts 3 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend the award ceremony wich starts at 5 PM.
